Think they'll have one? What's interesting is when you install the public beta profile for ios9, it gives you an option to install a public beta profile for the watch. Installed, rebooted, but nothing available...yet.
You can't downgrade and it's been causing people problems, so I'm going to say no. I don't think a public beta for WatchOS was promised, just OS X and iOS
Hi Guys I just installed the iOS 9 public beta on my phone but I'm not able to install watch iOS 2 public beta,or there isn't such a thing yet?
As far as I'm aware, there's no watch OS 2.0 out for the public beta users yet. watch OS 2.0 is so downright buggy, you'll really regret updating anyway. iOS 9 and 10.11 are much more stable, for a public beta release. The watch has random restarts, apple pay doesn't work, performance is slow, dictation and Siri doesn't work, etc. So consider it a good thing there isn't a public beta yet
Correct, and if you go to the Apple Watch App on the phone and check for an upgrade, it will say 1.0.1 is the current version. It doesn't see the Developer O/S 2.0 Beta 3
During the install of the public beta for o/s 9? Does that allow you to get the watch o/s 2.0 beta 3?
You can install the beta profile as the option does pop up but it will not allow the beta to download and you'll be presented with 1.01 is up to date unless your tied to a dev account
That's what I thought. I wouldn't want to use a beta on my watch that was only with developers anyway. Too risky.
I'm buying a watch soon, so I can still have the watch on its current OS And have it still work with the public beta?
There was NO public beta for watch as of this moment, only developer beta. So the watch you get will only be in OS 1.
what i meant was, will the watch still work out of the box even though I am running iOS 9 public beta?
Yes, Watch OS 1.0.1 runs fine with iPhone iOS 9 public beta Several existing threads about this http://forums.macrumors.com/threads...a-on-iphone-with-apple-watch-on-1-01.1899247/
