watch series 1 and iphone 10 messages

why wont te text messages erase from my watch after I delete them from my phone? I thought when synced this should happen ?
 
I thought you meant the notification.
But when I delete messages I see what you mean.
Indeed, it doesn’t delete them on the watch...

weird...
