Hey guys,
I have bought a second hand Apple Watch series 4. It comes with the top of the box, but not the bottom part which contains the plastic inserts etc.

I am desperately trying to source a box before Christmas but struggling. I wondered if the series 3 box is the same size as the 4? That way I can leave the straps on the watch, insert it in the plastic and then put the top of the box from s4 on the remaining box.

SUPER silly question I know but if you can help that would be a Christmas miracle!

I thought S4 was a long box and the body shipped in a little slip cover (models inc SS)?

The S3 box is square shaped... or is that just the SS S3?

The series 4 stainless came in a square box (As did the Series 3 stainless), the aluminum model came in a long rectangular box.

Both my Series 4 SS and aluminium came in a long rectangular box.

I have the Series 4 SS model.. and it did not come in a square box. I think Apple initially did this.. but I guess for packaging consolidation.. all Series 4 boxes were all boxed the same.

Unless they change the packaging throughout the production history, my Space black 4 came in a square box, but mine was also a ‘day one purchase’ when the orders went live.

Idk. But I remember seeing early unboxing.. and seen stainless steel boxes in square boxes. And I was anticipating mine would be in a squared box.

But I bought mine a couple months after launch, so... that’s my guess. That Apple changed all packaging to help with consolidation...

I have 3 S3 currently, 1 in a long box and 2 in square boxes. No idea what the logic behind it is.
