Has anyone else had their weather complication fail to display data? Both my wife and I keep getting a couple lines (dashes or hyphen style) instead of the current Temperature. It seems to happen several times a week for several hours at a time despite being within range of both our phones and home wifi. We're using Series 3 GPS with the current OS.

Yes, it happens every now and then. Seems to be because of Apple/their weather data subcontractor is having an outage for whatever reason. Annoyingly, these outages happen more often for my city than the other cities I have listed in my weather app. :p

I see the same thing, seemingly more frequently recently, on my series 2

The last few weeks I have just had ‘weather’ displayed in the complication. This has never happened before, I’m not sure how long it lasts as the next time I have checked it has been good.

Thanks for the responses. Lennyvalentin is probably right that there some sort of disconnect happening and not an actual issue with the watch. I would think it should pull from the same source as the phone app and phone widget, but I haven't noticed those failing. I'll have to start checking when I get outages. Interestingly, my phone's widget is showing a different temp (off 4 degrees) from my watch and the iPhone app. Also, they are 1 degree off from TWC's app temperature, and that is Apple's source here in the US.

I've had this issue since I updated to watchOS 4. I've tried resetting the watch, repairing, deleting all my locations, disabling location services (and reenabling), both globally and for the weather app. The only solution I have found is to duplicate the watch face I use (modular) and then when I want to see what the weather is, I swipe left or right.

Restart your phone.

Tried that many times.

What I have found is that that "--" temp only occurs on the "current location" entry. Entries that are manually added work without issue. The issue also extends beyond the complication but also occurs in the weather app on the watch. All the manually added entries have a date, the "current location" has --, even if one of the manually added entries is the same as the current location.

Oh well.
