Invite sentAfter two years of no running, I'm at week 3 of a start to run and have to be honest, completely forgot about your app... I'm running the Dev Beta on both iphone and apple watch so I can help test if you want.
It''s now released and featured in the UK AppStore 🎉
Please let me know if you spot it featured in any other stores around the world.
Thanks everyone for testing and reporting feedback. I've just submitted the build to the store and hope to ship it on Monday alongside iOS + WatchOS 26.
whoops idk if i missed it or what but i do see it now!@i4k20c Watch to 5K already has complication support. Perhaps I'm missing a certain style/size. What watch face are you using?
Sorry I've just seen this now.The biggest problem I see is with watchOS 26, there seems to be a bug in the way distance is calculated when adding workouts. When I use watch to 5k, as it switches from walk to run and back pace and run go haywire. Ve tried resetting fitness calibration to no avail. Never had this on the previous watchOS. This bug was there right from the early watchOS 26 betas.
My walk average pace is around 9.3 and my run is around 6.5 but see how it has calculated a super fast run and a super slow walk.
Anyone else seeing this?
Nope@bencallis i am curious, do i need to "Start a Run" in Apple's activity tracker to track the run for my rings, or will doing the workout straight from watch to 5k be enough?
Likewise, I am curious if you have ever given thought to adding some more voice motivation like, "3 more runs to go" or something after finishing a certain run.
Nopeyou don’t need to start anything separately in Apple’s Activity app. Just run with Watch to 5K and it will record a Run workout automatically, which fully counts towards your Activity rings.
On the voice motivation side, yeah, that’s definitely something I’ve thought about. The original voice prompts were designed to work reliably on the very first Apple Watch models, which had much tighter storage and performance constraints than today’s devices.
Now that the hardware is a lot more capable, I’m hoping to revisit and expand the voice prompts in a future update, including more motivational and progress-based messages like the example you mentioned.
It is an inherent issue with even the apple workouts as well when you add a workout during a continuing workout.Sorry I've just seen this now.
This seems strange. Are you running indoors or outdoors? Watch to 5K uses apple HealthKit APIs so records runs the same way as the Apple fitness app and other apps.
Your pace is reported in kilometres per hour but you can change the metric to miles if that is your preferred units.
Happy Holidays!
Thanks for the context it's really helpful.i want to mention, i hope if you do have it as an option that there is a toggle to turn it off/on - but i will say - for me it is motivating because one thing i do is as i am running, i keep track of how many more "runs" i have in the earlier segments with my hands. it would be nice to have the app automatically do that for me with the voice overs. excited about the update in the future!
