Watch totally bricked after update

Help, my watch is totally bricked after updating to 2.0. Screen freezes the minute I touch it, and I need to force restart it (holding down the two buttons) over and over again
 
People love to literally misuse the word 'Bricked' almost as much as the word literally.🙄

OP, if your :apple:Watch is bricked then you will have to have it replaced. If you get it working then it was NOT bricked. You can't turn a 'brick' into a watch.😱

This response was totally unhelpful.....
 
Mine finished the update, or so I thought. I entered the lock code and the update then seemed to continue again with the progress circle. After that finished the watch wouldn't do anything, black screen. I did a force reboot and it came back to the lock screen again. Entered the code and it's going through the install screen again!!!
