Watch videos shot on a camera from iPhoto on Apple TV?

Hi,
I am wonder whether the new or old apple TV will allow me to watch videos from my photo camera which are in iPhoto on the TV.

I don't want to have to convert or move anything to iTunes.

If apple TV doesn't do this, what are my options?

Your option would be to convert it. Is that really a huge hurdle for you? I do it all the time. Or burn it to a DVD and play it on a DVD player.
