So I was checking on my monthly progress towards my April challenge today and noticed a discrepancy. My watch says I've gone 7.02 miles today, the Health app (Walking + Running Distance) claims 5.8. For the month, I'm at 71.8 miles according to my watch, but the Health app says I'm at 60.7. My daily average account on the watch is about 6.5 miles/day, but the Health app is showing my average as 5.5.

Am I missing something or is this a bug?

in the Health app, under Sources, check if you have an app that is allowed to write data to walking/running distance, that could be the culprit.

Thanks. I actually figured it out. Under Data Sources, my phone was listed before my watch. So I believe I was seeing the data from my phone in the health app, not my watch. That makes sense. I usually have my phone, but not always, so it would be less.

Anyway, I edited the order they were listed in and then I started seeing watch data. All is well now. It was simply user error.
