Just saw someone with a link bracelet in Target, yesssss

Only 273 days after the introduction (in 09/2014), and 47 days after I placed the order on April 23rd, my Apple Watch arrived few days ago — one day earlier than expected from the shipping information Apple provided.

It was definitely worth the wait, the link bracelet is the most solid and beautiful band available (at least officially from Apple.) Keep in mind, that you might be more comfortable with a Sport band for workouts.

New challenge: Showing great patience until the release of watchOS 2.

Sorry (the math didn't add up). 68 days is which? April 23rd to yesterday is 7 weeks (49 days). Maybe you meant 48 days? (I know it seemed like 68 days)

You're absolutely right. No idea, how this happend, but it felt much, much longer.

Began with delivery window of 6/30 - 7/7

Now delivery window at 6/22 - 6/29

No activity on CC, still processing.

This watch is moving pretty fast now.

I returned my Space Black link, and ordered this on the 26th of June.
Card charged, PFS, and shipped on July 2nd.
Delivered on July 3rd.​
