I've noticed recently a red ticker next to the Watched button, which I'm assuming displays the number of watched threads that have new posts. For me, if I lose interest in a thread I replied to, I just don't open the thread again and the notifications stop shortly thereafter. Don't have to do anything. There are still some which I wish to see every new post in, so I don't really want to unlatch all threads.

This made me think, is that red ticker possible to hide or disable? It does draw my eye from time to time, and I'd rather just disable it. I couldn't find one when I looked, but I might have just missed it. It is minor, but if possible I will turn it off.
