watching downloaded videos on a mac

So I have several concert videos that Ive downloaded. The files are labeled like this:

vts_01_01.vob , vts_01_02.vob, etc

On a windows machine these open up automatically, and some have menus that are functional, and all files play one after another.

On my mac, I had to download an app called VLC to play these files, but the thing is, once one file is done I have to manually open the next, and any menus that are present are non functional.

How can I get these videos to work on a mac the same way the do on a pc?

You can try to open disk, or open folder, instead of opening 1 file. That should solve your problem 🙂

probably won't help you in this instance but you should also download Perian at http://www.perian.org/ it has solved a ton of video file issues for me

Those are file types usually used for dvd's, you might be able to open them with dvd player

put them all in a folder called "VIDEO_TS" and then drag that folder into the DVD Player application. you may also be able to view the .vobs in VLC.
