I'm no film maker but that's like a Musician telling people how to listen to their music. As long as it get's heard/seen and a message was conveyed that should be all that matters.

The nerve of people telling someone how to watch what they want. . . How about we just don't support your movie AT ALL?

Lastly this is the future, get use to it and start thinking of ways to implement your movies/clips straight to mobile devices. :D

I'm a film maker. Went to film school. Worked on a few 'major motion pictures' and consider myself to be somewhat of a film snob. But, I also like toys and technology and don't see anything wrong with watching movies on an IPhone. I think UP looks amazing with the retina display. I'm not going to sit here and watch Citizen Kane on my IPhone and try and dissect the cinematography, but I'll watch something I've seen a hundred times if I am out somewhere and need to kill time.

I'm probably an odd case, but I've had a ritual for the last 2-3 years that I watch movies/tv shows on my iPhone in bed before I sleep. Every night for 15-45 minutes for several years. The iPhone is an awesome movie device.
