Hi everyone, I'm a new owner of a Apple TV and this will be my first time watching a keynote Livestream on it. When will the Apple Events channel pop up on my Apple TV? Thanks in advance. Plus, I hope there is a possible Apple TV upgrade in the reveal as well. I can dream big can't I?

Although sometimes you need to restart the ATV before it appears. I'm sure they'll be an announcement on MacRumors front page when the app goes live. I think it was a couple of hours before when the last live stream.

Switched on my Apple TV this morning and the app was there. Probably watch it on there instead of my iPad.

Have spent the last 10 or 15 minutes trying to watch the event on my Apple TV. The first few times I got the spinning pinwheel for awhile and then a message to the effect "An error occurred trying to load this content. Please try again later".

Finally I was able to connect, but it was over-dubbed with a woman speaking an Asian language, making it hard to hear the original English. After a minute or so, it dropped with the same error. Tried again with similar results.

Forget it, I don't really care much about the iPhone 6 or iWatch anyway, will read the summary later. ;)

Horrible feed

Comes in an out on the aTV and MBP. Freezes. Someone speaking Chinese over the presenters. Sometimes get the schedule from the tv truck.

Embarrassing. Heads should roll.

Update:
Finally gave up on the aTV. Went to my MBP17 and about an hour into the feed, things started acting normally. Unfortunately, the Apple TV was not part of todays presentation. Expected, but still disappointing.

Yep, my AppleTV stream was messed up too. Ditched it after 5 mins and watched the updates come through on the MR main page. Thanks to MR, we already knew most of what was announced anyway! Disappointed, but the "biggest iPhone update ever" wasn't really - it should have been triangular shaped and made of cheese - now thats an update (!), and an ugly watch. The Apple Watch may be functionally brilliant, and the technology and UI brilliant, but damn its ugly.

Looks like we aren't the only ones who noticed these problems. :p

the ads feature two actors dressed similar to Apple Geniuses in an environment that looks like the back area of an Apple Store. The first ad notes how the live stream for Apple's event intermittently cut out for some viewers while also experiencing odd production issues, like two songs playing over each other or a Chinese translator having her audio played over the keynote.
