Hi,

is it way to watching videos from udemy.com on PPC? I have PowerBook G4 (15", 2006) and I tried to use TenFourtyFox but loading video failed (logging, loading & rendering page is OK). Any sugestions?

Use Safari or Tiger Webkit, ensure the Develop menu is visible (Preferences/Advanced) then go Develop/User Agent/Other - in the dialogue box, paste this:

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 10.0; Windows Phone 8.0; Trident/6.0; IEMobile/10.0; ARM; Touch)

Your browser will now behave like a mobile device and play a video file instead of a Flash file.

Try hovering in the right hand corner , it will then appear.
Just had the same issue in Safari.
I also had a certificate error .

Since I have courses on udemy also , just tried with TFF , Safari and Webkit but indeed either you got to fake being a mobile device or find a way to play Flash files ( which is outdated on 10.4/10.5 )
[doublepost=1481660168][/doublepost]I found here that you would be able to choose in your preferences between
Flash and HTML5 but I don't have that option ? ( see Fixes 3. )

http://www.ghacks.net/2014/12/02/fix-udemy-videos-not-loading/

Do you get that option in your udemy profile preferences ?

Will try on my MBP Retina to see if I can switch the setting there.

No luck on El Capitan neither to switch the video preference

I think these options are not more available - Udemy propably disabled these.

I can't login on Safari - JS window with logging doesn't appear :/

Logging on TFF is OK but when I try to view any video, finally it's stopped at the start with info about problems - even I use user agent switcher - I tried few options with browser agents. Closest was Chrome/Android (!) but finally it was stopped too. I think problem is in Javacripts :(

right - webkit for leopard is solution and big step forward for Safari (WebKit) - logging & site works but videos nope. I checked other my courses and propably problem is on video (compression?) side. Some videos work some nope. Strange but nothing to improve here.

Thanks for help - maybe this is new life for Safari (WebKit) :)
