Battery life continues to be horrible on my series 9. I’ve lost 4% of my battery in an hour and haven’t used the watch once. Background activity is off and always on display is off. Basically I’ve sat on my couch and drank coffee. 🤷‍♂️

Ohhhhhh no wonder! iOS 18.1 is still in beta, for those who have an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 16 series once that one is released. It uses the iOS 18 developer beta 8 as an update restricted to only these devices. You can still get watchOS 11 RC, but yes you need to get the faces through the Apple Watch only until 18.1 beta 4.

Ah, that explains it. Thank you. Sorry for the Tapatalk corruption. I thought it was fixed.

I'll have to try the beta. It has been a while since I forgot. Sometimes it doesn't corrupt, sometimes it does. I would think since the RC is out and the final being released to all on Monday, Tapatalk would have this solved this late in the game.
 
Battery life update on my Ultra 1… 9% left with 3 hours short of 48 hours since last charge. Definitely better than all the previous beta. Feels back to what it was pre 18.
 
This is the worst beta yet, and this is RC! Weather and Music apps disappear for no reason, only a reset brings them back, although only for a while. The battery is even worse. My Series 7 hasn't been a champion for a long time, but it didn't lose 30% overnight.
