Is anyone else having issues syncing their automatic playlists from their iPhone to the Apple Watch?

When I go to the Watch app and then music I only see “Heavy Rotation” and underneath a spinning wheel. I can add manual playlists and albums without issue just not the Mix’s. Done all the usual reboots, update to 11.0.1, even turned the Watch off but still it won’t show the Mix’s!

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Got the same problem. Maybe 4.1 will fix this? Have the same problem on another AW3 so at least I think it’s not a hardware issue.

[doublepost=1510862341][/doublepost]Add you manage to get this issue solved?

I opened a case with Apple about it, it went to a senior tech person who ran diagnostics on the Watch and did a screen sharing session on the iPhone, they said they'd have to talk to Apple HQ and come back to me but that was a week ago so I need to chase it with them.

Well spookily enough I did the same today and got put through to a senior tech who had never seen this issue before. He also remotely accessed he is calling me back tommorrow to possibly do diagnostics.

Are you seeing any adverse effects from this on battery life?

Out of interest, do you have iTunes Match?

I've had it since it originally launched and my iTunes library itself must be pretty old as I've been using iTunes since I had the 5th Gen iPod Classic.

No don't have iTunes match

Just to add, I'm not seeing any adverse effects on battery life, from 7am til 11pm usually with a 40 minute workout my battery will be around 70% (this is on a Series 2)

I went into the Watch App > Music and the spinning wheel is gone! I sort of forgot about the whole issue as I didn't notice any problems. It was just annoying knowing something is not correct with the spinning wheel not resolving itself. I'm thinking one of the updates fix the issue.

Still not working for me, I’ve got all the updates that have been released so far.

Also not heard anything more from Apple Tech Support...

Maybe 11.2 / 4.2 will fix it...

That happened to me initially when I got the watch.

I turned heavy rotation off and restarted watch, turned it back on and viola. Assuming you already tried that. Such a weird thing to have happen

So after updating to 11.2 at the weekend I tried again and it still didn’t work. However today I just checked again and suddenly everything is where it’s supposed to be!

Hopefully that’s the end of the problem.

As for what I did to fix it ? Nothing that I know of?!
