Will the Apple Watch Series 0 record your resting heart rate etc?

I'm currently using a Series 0 on the WatchOS 4 GM, and I'm not seeing my resting heart rate.

Any ideas?

Can anybody on a Series 1 or 2 confirm if their watch displays resting heart rate on the WatchOS 4 GM?

You dont need lots of processing power to calculate resting heart rate. Maybe its just to make s0 users upgrade.

This is seen on the health screen on your phone and not on the watch itself. It may show up on the watch in the future but when I accessed this feature on my series 0 it directed me to the iPhone's Health App.

Yes it does display resting heart rate with WatchOS 4.0 GM on my Apple Watch Series 2. Looks just like in the keynote presentation.

I guess S0 folks are out of luck. When I got to the health app on my iPhone, all heart rate graphs are blank except for one.

Do S1 and S2 watches continually monitor heart rate? My S0 only checks it every 5 minutes or so or when you are not moving. Something goofy like that. Since the new monitoring references how many minutes it takes your heart rate to come back down, I'm guessing the S0 just isn't efficient enough. I was talking to a guy at work the other day who has an S2. At around 3pm, my S0 was at 37% battery and his was at 77 or 82 or something that seemed absolutely ridiculous to me...
