Hey, guys:

Have the S2 SS. Updated to OS4 today, and now when I access the Mail app, I see only a message that states "No Mail Account. Setup a new account on your iPhone."

Problem is, I do have Mail configured (to use a non-Apple email account). Works fine on my iPhone.

Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks....

OK, good to know I'm not going crazy.

So...this is a big bug.

Thanks for info.

Mail app just started working again for no discernible reason. Weird.

I fixed this by going into the Watch app on my iPhone, selecting "Mail", selecting "Custom" and then reselecting "Mirror my iPhone". Kludgy...
This is the correct answer. Force closing mail app on the phone and rebooting didn’t fix, but this did, instantly.

For what it’s worth: I also had this problem on my Series 2 after updating to watchOS 5, and was able to fix it with a similar trick. I went into the watch app on the phone, to Mail, and under “Include Mail”, where you select which mailboxes should be available on your phone, I just added a couple (eg. VIP, Thread Notifications) and that did the trick for me.

So it seems that tweaking possibly any kind of setting to do with Mail in the Watch app on the phone helps it to reset out of its stuck state.

Thanks for the tip!

Cheers
