Hello I have updated my Nike watch and now my contacts don’t sync to my watch, is there a setting I need to enable?

Okay thanks

New issues:
  • The clock face might show 10:09 instead of the real time (use force touch to go to face switcher, then go back)
  • Complications might not update with current info
  • Nightstand might not go away while doing an initial pair (place watch on charger and remove again)
  • Contacts might not promptly sync to the watch
  • All contacts might disappear from the watch
  • VoiceOver might not work in Messages conversations
  • Icons might not show in maps results/categories
  • The watch might crash during initial pairing (wait for the watch to come back to the sync circle or clock face)
  • The phone app will crash when tapping the call button in a contact (use favs/recents/keyboard to do the call)
  • Haptics settings might not sync between watch/watch app (change it on the watch instead)
  • Workout reminders might show incorrect labels for indoors/outdoors
  • Siri Raise to Speak now available for watches on beta 2 or later ("raise watch up to your mouth and speak your Siri request" - assume this means that the action of doing that raise motion is what enables not having to say Hey Siri, and that if you don't do that motion you will still need to say Hey Siri)
Resolved issues:
  • Activity rings will now update on the clock face while in a workout
  • Tapping on a notification to join an incoming group FaceTime now works
  • Fixed crash while using Scribble in an unsupported language
  • Siri custom responses to action executions now appear in completion UI on Siri face
  • Phone calls in Siri shortcuts now work
  • Siri shortcuts on paired watch/phone now work in the simulator
  • Shortcuts that use an image now show the image
  • Watch now properly connects with known Wi-Fi networks when out of range of the paired phone (perhaps this bug was the cause of excessive battery drain previously)
  • Route maps in Activity app on iOS should now show a smooth path
  • Swimming workouts should now accumulate metrics properly
Known issues:
  • Apple Pay card art might be incorrect or missing in the watch or Watch app
  • Siri can't display Visual Code images from SiriKit apps
  • The route map for a workout might be unavailable in the Activity app

Has anybody figured out a solve to overcome this? Tried restoring from backup — didn’t fix

Not I. I did the same thing. Unpaired. Repaired. Erased all content and settings. Deleted sync info from the watch app on the phone. No dice. But frustrating.

Me too. However it’ll probably be fixed next beta on Tuesday so I’ll manage until then.

I'm on iOS 12 iPhone X and watchOS 4.3.2 AW3 and my contacts have disappeared from my Apple watch too. I have tried a reset and resync data and unpair and repair but nothing is working.

In another thread they said updating to 4.3.2 fixed it, I am downloading now with fingers crossed. Seems your on the latest though.

I haven’t tried that but I doubt it will have any effect as even resync option does nothing. Also it’s a known bug.
Weird part is that it even exists on watchOS 4.3.2 on iOS 12 beta. So the problem is more with iOS 12 than watchOS.

Yes. And will probably be fixed on Tuesday with next beta, if 2 week release cycles are the norm.
