I've had my Apple Watch from the beginning - I've seen the OS go from terrible to good, now somewhere between. WatchOS 3 was the most fluid and streamlined on my Series 0, WatchOS 4 has made it much worse.

Here is my list of features I'd like to see:
  • A mail complication to see how many emails I have. I like that iMessage one have an indicator for how many messages I have, just something like that.
  • I'd like the digital crown to control the volume of what I'm listening to, either on my phone or AirPods, when on the watch face. Since they removed the time travel feature, rotating the digital crown doesn't do anything on the watch face. Right now I have to open the music app to adjust the volume when listening to AirPods. Would be very quick and convenient to change the volume with the crown.
  • I'd like swipe down to see notifications to work from within any watch App, like it does on the iPhone. I'll get notifications during a run and if I don't rotate my wrist to look at them right then, I'll miss them and then I have to navigate back to the watch face to see them. I'd say the same thing for swipe up control center too.
  • Syncing deleted iMessages with my iPhone. Deleting iMessages on the Apple Watch is the most tedious action: 1) swipe left 2)select "Trash", then wait for the second trash button to appear. We have to do this for every thread. Just sync with my phone and be done.
  • Allow us to scroll through months in the calendar app. I can't believe this hasn't been added yet.
  • Improve the app changing speed on Series 0 watches back to how it worked with WatchOS 3. When they allowed apps to be stored in the memory, everything ran great. I literally only use about 3 apps on my watch: watch face, iMessage, and workouts. I have the complications for iMessage and Workouts on my watch face, when ever I open either, the Watch lags for about 10 seconds before I can do anything.
  • Consistency with Force Touch: it's all over the place with apps. I never know what to do and if it works.

I still love my Apple Watch, it's a great companion to the iPhone and for my daily exercise tracking.

I work 10 hour days: checking time, check weather, messages, email, Things, calendar events. I set and respond to alarms and use Siri for larger calculations. I have a 42mm and it definitely lasts 2.5 days. Plenty of people on here will attest to theirs lasting that long as well.

I’m not disputing it; I’m expressing genuine surprise. On a few days I’ve been ill or lazy, yes, I barely drag the battery; my point is I use the **** out of it most days, and it meets Apple’s advertised 18 hours, so while I’m not unhappy, I’d still like to see more battery life, but not by reducing my usage. If anything, I want it to do more, and for longer betweenn charges.

I dont know if someone put this, but I think it should show the battery percentage while its being charged. I hate having to unlock it and swipe to the face with the battery complication on it just to see what its charge is at.

No need to unlock; just tap the charge progress icon and it toggles (temporarily) to percentage.

Also, a swipe up on the Home screen to access quick settings shows the charge with any watch face; it need not be a complication.
