WatchOS 7.1 Public Beta - I don't have any profiles though?

After iOS 14 and WatchOS 7.0 came out, I removed the public beta profiles from both my watch AND my phone, and do not have any beta profiles showing at all now.

Despite this, I received a notification tonight that I have a new update for 7.1 Public Beta.

Anyone have any ideas?

Did you reboot the watch after you removed the profile? I believe it asks if you want to reboot the watch when the profile is removed, but you have the option to say no. The profile still stays active in that case even though it’s gone.

Yes, I did. I just re-did it again tonight and its still showing 7.1.

I may just need to stick it out until the full version comes and then do a reboot then?

Weird. Maybe try to re-add the profile and then remove it again?

Also, on your phone go to the watch app, then General, Software Update, and make sure “Automatic Updates” are turned off. Otherwise it may automatically install 7.1 for you tonight.
 
Also, you can see the watch profiles on the watch in settings, general, profiles, as well as on the phone in the watch app under settings, general, profiles. You might want to check both places and make sure the profile is really gone.

You could also try to unpair and repair the watch. The watch gets wiped during the unpairing process, so that should get rid of any remnants of the profile.

Did you remove your watch enrolment from the Apple beta site?
