Yes, it won't work with 13.xDo you have to have iOS 14 Public Beta on your iPhone in order to upgrade to watchOS 7?
I’m certainly trying it. I never felt comfortable putting the dev beta on my watch, but if Apple feels the general public can use it if they want to then I’ll trust them.I think the watch beta will be very popular for people to try.
That is surprising. Apple is going to make a lot of people upset with the watch beta.Apple has updated their Public Beta FAQ page to state that the WatchOS beta will not be able to be downgraded.

Please note Apple Watch cannot be restored to previously-released OS versions once the public beta is installed.
Aren’t you able to send it to Apple for them to downgrade though? I know it’s not ideal and can be inconvenient, but it’s not like you’ll have a bricked watch forever. That is surprising. Apple is going to make a lot of people upset with the watch beta.

That's why I've held off. Haven't really seen a "wow that's cool" feature that made me want to do it outside of being on the latest. If something goes wrong with my phone at least I can revert back but then my watch wouldn't work so that could be an issue. To be fair there isn't a lot of new features that are amazing in watchOS 7. The sleep tracking is nice, but if you're using another sleep tracker already it's most likely better.
The notification to the phone when the watch is fully charged is nice, as well as the new battery options (battery health, optimized charging, etc.).
Overall the watchOS interface is snappier and that's very nice.
I would assume Apple would do the same for public beta users.Well, that was only for pain developers. There's nothing to say if they will support that for those on public beta.
They will if the person is a beta tester. It wouldn’t be hard for Apple to confirm status.I would assume Apple would do the same for public beta users.
How prominent is the haptic sleep alarm? Is it strong enough that you won’t sleep through, when relying solely on the haptic function with no audible alarm from the phone? To be fair there isn't a lot of new features that are amazing in watchOS 7. With the limited functions and results of Apple’s new feature, I can see why you are still using AutoSleep. Maybe I will like the new feature once I start using it. However, from what I have read and seen in videos thus far, the new feature Is rather mundane.I don’t use the native sleep tracking. I’m still using AutoSleep.
Speaking of AutoSleep, how do you set 1 alarm that covers every day and wakes you up at the same time? I haven’t found that option when setting a wake alarm.I don’t use the native sleep tracking. I’m still using AutoSleep.
How was the speed and stability?I installed the beta on a spare series 3 a little while ago, and was disappointed that handwashing wasn’t included on series 3.
I had a few re-resprings after installing but nothing major thus far. I would have considered installing on my series 5 if “Watch Feeds” (RSS app for the watch where you can set notifications as well for certain feeds you want like MR) and “Phone Buddy” had worked like they were supposed to. “Watch Feeds” menu is largely built upon 3D press some of the menus would recognize or load like they should with one of my readers. I may try the app with a different reader tomorrow. My other apps appear to be working. I mainly installed the beta to see first hand what the sleep app was like. How was the speed and stability?
