With watchOS 8, Apple will finally allow users to set multiple timers within the Timers app. Each specific timer can be given a label, such as laundry or cooking timer, and is viewed in a single list.

watchOS 8 has a wide range of features, including a new standalone Find My app that allows users to find and locate items part of the Find My network right on their wrist. Additionally, watchOS 8 renames the Breathe app to Mindfulness with an "enhanced Breathe experience" and new session types such as Reflect. Learn more about watchOS 8 here.

Find my on the watch at last, should have been out long before now. Shame it won't be officially released for a few months.

Considering how powerful the watch is the apps have remarkably few features. This is a serious opportunity for improvement area.

Please, come to the iOS! When I'm baking and cooking, this would be tremendously useful.
And I like the idea of syncing it with all devices! (I don't understand why there's not an Alarm app on macOS. I can't think of many reasons why it would be useful and simple to code.)

Cool. I hope that timers sync across devices. I set a timer on my iPhone and figured it would also go off on my watch. Or I could at least check. Went outside to work out, said uh oh and tried to check my watch. Nada. Burnt cake. Disappointed daughter.

How's about syncing the timers between the watch and the iPhone.
I like that a watch timer is only on the watch but an iPhone timer is on both. It gets around the one timer limit, but also there are reasons for both.

i wish you could customize the watch timers, as I would rather have 45 minutes than 2 hrs.

Because you might come back to your desk with a fresh cup of coffee and find a sledgehammer lodged in your screen, that’s why…

So six years on WatchOS gets multiple timers?

Doesn't bode well for iPadOS getting a calculator before 2025...
The problem is, the calculator would be massive with so many functions, or with giant buttons and look silly, or not be full screen. Maybe just a widget with a calc that looks like the iPhone landscape one?

I set multiple timers on my Apple Watch all the time. It goes something like this:

"Hey Siri set a timer for 10 minutes"

"...checking"

''...checking"

'...something went wrong. try again in a few minutes."

"Hey Siri, set a timer for 9 minutes."

That has been Apple's point. Look at every calculator app for iPad and most of them look ridiculous. It is also such a simple concept that is easily served by 10,000 options on the App Store. It is a waste fo Apple's time to make one.
