So since updating to WatchOS 8, I noticed there is no more haptic feedback when scrolling with the crown when notifications pop up.

I checked the settings, everything is enabled, and the crown haptics work in other places, just not when you scroll a notification.

Anyone noticed this? S5 watch here.

It has gained some kind of randomness indeed. I had the haptic feedback on a simple watchface with no "anything" but the time recently, just turning the crown. Now it is gone. So maybe it is randomly not activated, where it should be...

Just checking in to say I have noticed this as well with my S6. Haptics work fine scrolling lists, but with certain notifications like activity and gmail, it doesn’t do the typical clicking haptics until you hit the top or bottom of the notification.

Not sure if it’s a glitch or intentional.

Its not a deal breaker, but after 5+ years of using an Apple Watch, I immediately felt something was missing, the haptic feedback while scrolling the notifications...

Hopefully its a bug and they'll fix it.

Twice I've had the haptics stop working (series 7) until I restarted my watch. This morning was worse... because I use the Sleep tracker, my haptic alarm didn't even go off, it seemed like it went into a "Snooze" mode, so I got up 30 minutes later than my alarm.

I haven't had this problem with my series 4 or prior to watchOS 8. I wonder what's making it stop working?

I had the same thing happening multiple times now. Just today, my alarm didn’t wake me up, because it was going off without haptic feedback.

In my case, there is no haptic feedback whatsoever, until I restart my watch.
So no vibration on alarms, notification, crown scrolling etc.

This has been bothering me since 6 months (happened in january for the first time), apple support was not helpful and at this point I am not sure if this will be fixed at all.

I made a post on reddit a while ago about this:
Happening on my Series 7 with watch OS 8.6.

I can’t believe this is even a thing, on such an expensive smartwatch.
