WatchOS 8 - missing current time in Workouts (top-right)

I've reported this as feedback to Apple but it seems there is no time in the top-right of the current workout on OS 8.

Is anyone else having the same opinion? Have I missed a config that is varied off by default?

I’m using watchOS 8 and the Time displays ok for me in the workout screen.
