So it looks like we can now get digital seconds, at least on the activity face. (keynote: 16:18). Hopefully on others as well. :D

I think that's the activity app.

I agree, there's hope but I don't think that screen shot is a proof

It was shown as one of the new watch faces, and in the video you can see the seconds counting.

you can have seconds, and that is the watch face. I have not installed the beta of watchOS 3 yet, but in the new iOS Apple Watch app you can design the watch faces and there is that watch face with a toggle for seconds.

That's great news! Is it just a toggle on the activity face, or available on any others?

Where in the watch app is that? Not seeing any of that.
