It’s supposed to let you customize complications on watch face greatly. I’d really love to hear reviews from actual users. Anyone try it yet?

I tried It - all I wanted was the date to change to battery in the evening. Pretty clever but the widget isn’t consistent. Still got it installed but have reverted to the Apple complication.

I was hoping that it used the apple complications but it doesn’t nit uses custom ones so you can only use the apps limited complications.

With Watchsmith I finally can get the sunset in a slot in subdial watchface on Infograph.
That alone was worth the download.

It looks interesting but seems to try and do an awful lot in one app. I like the idea of variable complications, but as far as I can tell this is based on a time schedule. I've been hoping since 2015 that Apple would add smart complication slots based on the data. E.g. show me the weather when it's going to rain, or remaining time when I have set a time, battery when it's getting low, etc. - as far as I can tell this doesn't do that (yet!).

That is one thing I really like about Siri watch face. 😀

A very cool app, but am not buying due to a.) subscription fatigue, and b.) the sneaking suspicion that Apple will, sooner than we, or the developer, might think, introduce new features that will make these redundant. Every dev faces this possibility, but in this case, it seems overwhelmingly likely.

It is free. The subscription is for complications that use information the developer must pay for, and a few other cool things. But most of the functionality is there to use without cost.

As to the possibility of Apple introducing something of its own: sure, maybe so or maybe not, we’ll see. But since there’s no cost, there’s no reason to hesitate if the functionality seems useful for you.

I tried some with varying success, e.g. tried to give date various colors, but it stayed white.
sorely misses any form of instruction.

Honestly, I'm using it now just to have a little digital time on the Inforgraph face. I will play around more, but this right here justifies the (free) price.

I can get the digital time on an Infograph face without this app: Sub-dial Top -> Digital Time.
Yeah but ONLY in that position. I should have clarified. My apologies. My setup is fantastical in that position, and there is to the best of my knowledge no way (pre-WatchSmith) to put simple digital time in any other complication. I now use it in the bottom center position.

Ok, that makes sense.

Hi there - I’m wondering if anyone knows how to interpret the hourly forecast in the infograph large - what do the larger squares mean? Any other data being conveyed on this complication?

I tried it and eventually got frustrated and went to Clockology. Not exactly the same, but there are lots of nice watch faces to be had. Only issue is watchOS runs clockology as an app and not a clock replacement.

any watchsmith users out there? I added "steps" on my homescreen but it's showing 0 steps at the end of the day... clearly impossible but not sure why it's not fetching the right info or how to fix?
