I can't tell ... combo of colorblindness and bad eyesight. Am I even looking in the right location? If someone can tell me if this is tripped, that'd be great. This is inside the SIM slot of my 11 pro max

Can't even see the sensor. It is seated on display and it's visible trough Simtray slot
Yup ... looking in the right spot would be a good first step. Was looking in the SIM slot, but on the wrong side of the phone. Here's the display side.
What about....what would even lead you to believe that it’s ‘tripped’ in the first place?
