Hello everyone!

So i just purchased a brand new macbook pro and i thought it would be nice to let my mom have my macbook that wasnt even a year old. Not even a week later (today) she spills coffee on the macbook. After letting it dry out for an hour or so it turns on fine, operates a little slower than usual, perhaps sluggish would be the term to use. Also, some coffee must have gotten behind the screen as this happened.

all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

"Between the Hedges"
"Spilled liquid on my Mac or keyboard" guide

Way too early to have turned it on :(
But the guide will give you some other tips too

Some drying with the screen will occur over time
Mine was severe... but after a few weeks it dried completely
Now you can't tell it at all

I did have to have the keyboard replaced though
I was fortunate it didn't need a logic board because the warranty was voided
