My wife spilled a glass with just ice on my new mbp, hardly any liquid at all was on the keyboard, just some drops, do I need to be worried at all, everything still works just fine.

Most likely you'll be just fine. Even a little water won't kill the machine. 😉

Thats what I figured, it's just that it's brand new and I'm kind of scared about the whole deal, i love this computer.

It would depend on where the indicator strip is located.
I doubt it is right under the keyboard keys.

OP, you should be fine. I've left my computer in the bathroom while showering before with no ill effects

I'd turn it off and turn on the hairdryer, and then let it dry overnight. But that's just me.
