My sister dropped my canon XSI into the lake last night and it doesn't turn on anymore. I figure its broke for good. But i just wanted to know is it possible that it could be reared instead of having to go buy a new body?

Well, turning anything electronic on after it's gotten wet is a bad idea. You can try to stick it in a tub of uncooked rice for a few days.

If that doesn't work get a new sister and a new camera.

And just remember for the next time you drop any electronic device in water, the first thing you do is remove the battery. Then dry it thoroughly (and I don't mean put it on the radiator for half an hour, no, dry it for a few days). Then put the battery back, pray and turn it on. It just might work.

New York, Baby!
I saved my old Dell Mini 9 by taking it apart (without the battery), putting it in a roasting tin full of rice and baking it at 60degrees centigrade for 4 hours.
