Hi, I've seen similar posts to my question, but not exactly what I'm looking for. I have an almost totally dead water damaged iPhone 5s that I was not able to have fixed (I did the rice trick / took it to a repair shop). I have no way of interfacing with the phone. It will only show the apple logo when plugged in, but is not recognized by iTunes. This is all fine; I don't need anything off it because it was backed up. My problem is that I want to sell it for parts, but I'm concerned that someone who knows more than me could access my data (even though it's dead). Is this something I should be concerned about? Is there anything that can be done to make sure it's clear short of me taking it apart and trashing the board? Thanks!
