I'm assuming you don't have insurance that covers that kind of stuff?
If no, then I'd recommend getting a good electronics screwdriver kit (with the tri-wing ones you need you need to get the battery out), some de-mineralized water (or just battery water if you want to do it on the cheap), thermal grease (like Arctic Silver), and a big bag of rice.
Take the thing apart, get all the boards that got wet, soak them in the de-mineralized water (do NOT use tap water), shake off most of the water, cover them in rice, flush out any other remnants of the drink you spilled on the machine, cover the rest of the machine in rice and let it all sit there for a couple of days. You may need to change or stir the rice at some point during the drying and remember that the battery doesn't need this treatment, it's an isolated unit so all you need is clean off residue if there is any on it.
Then when you put it together it might work, so it's not completely 100%. My old cellphone didn't work even thou I did the rice trick after my dad fell off the my uncle's boat with it in his pocket. This was probably because it was on when it happened and he tried turning it on prematurely. A simple rule with wet electronics is never to try to turn them on when they might still be wet or have residue from getting wet inside of them.
