Waterproof camera covers when you're shooting?

Evening all.

I was out today (attempting) to take magnificent photos 🙂o) when the heavens opened and I had to run for cover. I didn't mind getting wet, but I sure as hell didn't want my lickle baby D40 getting soaked.

Are there any effective waterproof covers out there that allow you to keep shooting in such circumstances - apart from a large plastic bag?

Ewa-Marine makes some. Prices range for $20 to $200. At the low end it is just a vinyl cover. The better ones completely enclose the camera and let your camera survive a quick dunk under water B&H has them.
