I thought I'd try to attach some even older technology to my G4 Powerbook from 2004. Namely, a genuine KB-5923 104-Key Windows 95 keyboard! Which doesn't work when connected via a colorful array of adapters to the USB port. I read up on some mods in clickykeyboards, even though this isn't quite as glamorous and elite as the IBM Model M. It would be easier than using the laptop keyboard and it would please me to drag myself even further back into the past. Does anyone know if I need to add the resistors, or buy the special adapter, or if there's some kext that would work?

I searched and searched the forum but most posts seem to involve attaching NEWER tech to the PPC, not old despised Windows trash.

Amusing details for future reference, seeing as how the net lives forever:
5 pin 180 DIN cable
Contact resistance 500 Ohm max
Insulation resistance DC 100V 50 Ohm Min
Max rating +5.0 VDC +10%, 200mA max
