Hey Everyone,

I'm getting my first Mac this week (should be shipping shortly), and I'm trying to sort out a way to mirror folders from the Mac to a USB 2.0 harddrive. Does OS X offer a way to do this, or is there a program that will continuously update mirrored folders whenever a change is made? Essentially, I'd like to store my precious digital photos on my Mac, but have an automated way to keep the image folders continuously backed up and updated on the external drive. I haven't found much in the way of searches.

Thanks,

Alex

You can use a program like Superduper and set it to automatically do backups every day, or something like that. Also, Time Machine in Leopard should help you do this... in October.
