Way to re-route Beejive/IM+ MSGs to BiteSMS?

Any way to? The current programs are so laggy and I like responding to MSGs directly from any screen (instead of waiting for the app to open up).

You can set your aim to mobile from a computer and it will send your messages via text. Problem is I think only aim/aol accounts can do that. Don't quote me though, as I don't have much experience with any other IM clients.
