Way to transfer text messages to computer?

I have the iPhone 3G, and I was wondering if there was any way that I could save my text messages onto my computer...maybe converting it into a word document or pdf or something?

If you are on a Mac, purchase Phone View. A great program. Not affiliated with them at all, but a very satisfied customer.

Sure! It's great for getting all sorts of information off of your iPhone, including text message conversations. I've used it mainly for that and voice messages. Here is a link: http://www.ecamm.com/mac/phoneview/
