i was having some CPU usage issues on my MBP. doing a clean install now will report back.

So iTunes 11.1.2 is updating oddly on the Mac App Updates. It keeps flashing between the amount it has downloaded to calculating, and restarts every 10 minutes.

Mail is continuously downloading mail but no mail is actually downloading. Showing incoming messages, 3 of 3, but nothing is actually incoming.

Mavericks is just generally slow, laggy, and unfinished.

Not happy. Can I go back to 10.8?

there is something seriously wrong with mail and iTunes, that's all I can say
