I have my wayfinder face color set to adventurer white but it keeps turning black anyone know how to keep it white? It will turn white if I turn on raise to wake or rotate the crown. I just think it’s silly that it doesn’t stay on the color I set it to.

Thanks

I think this is just how most faces handle always-on-display. To conserve more battery it turns those solid colors into outlines.

This is simply the standard operation where when the watch is lowered or not being viewed the display darkens and some complications are hidden.
It should go to your settings when you raise your wrist or turn the crown.

It is not just to conserve battery, it is also to reduce (but not eliminate) OLED burn-in. Notice also most of the faces "shrink" slightly when on AOD, for the same reason.

(Speaking as someone who got OLED burn-in on my S5, so it is definitely a thing.)
