Waze Not Working Since iOS 13

When I got my new iPhone 11 Pro on iOS 13 Waze and Google Maps would only show me a relatively blank screen. I am on iOS 13.1.3 now and Google Maps is now working, but Waze only shows the basic outline of the map and the recenter and settings (gear) buttons.

I've tried turning location settings off, force restarting the phone and then turning location services back on (as someone suggested to me). That did not work.

Maybe I should start another thread for this, but, overall, Apple and 3rd party apps have been freezing on me as well. This includes Safari, Messages, etc. I've been closing out the programs and

Bummer. I’m using Waze on iOS 13 without issue.

FWIW, the first time I launched it, there was some odd behavior with information not being displayed, but the app rectified it within a minute or two.

An update appeared to resolve the issue for Google Maps so hopefully the same will happen with Waze and all the other apps I’m having trouble with. Thanks @willmtaylor

Ive had same problem since ios 13 any address i clock on waze opens up but just stuck at home location rhen i have to try and remeber the $&@?ing address i already click on to searxh...

How could google botch an app this big, too many side projects with CCP? Disgrace.
And then i cant even figure out how to make apple or google the default
