i'm guessing appzapper got rid of the uninstaller. i'll try to reinstall then uninstall.
thanks.
There should be a uninstaller somewhere ( oops sorry just read above link ) or you could just try holding down the command key & dragging the icon of the menu bar
when i try that it just brings down the drop down bar.

none of the options that i click on do anything.

i'll let you guys know what happened when i get back home to my hd.\
thanks again.

You must be doing it wrong to bring down the drop down, try holding down the command key place the pointer over the icon then click & drag ( still holding down the command key )

i tried that as well as all variations. still brings down the drop bar.

edit: i reinstalled the program then used spotlight to find the uninstaller. everything worked a treat. thanks for the help.

WD Anywhere has it's own uninstall feature which I have recently used successfully. Just go to the WD Anywhere folder in your Applications, open it and double click on "Uninstall". Worked fine for me.

A quick tip that was the first thing I learned on this forum a few months ago:

hold cmd and drag the icon out of the menu bar. it will disappear in a puff of smoke.
