WD My Book DUO or else - directly work on files

Hey guys!

Does anyone here uses the WD My Book DUO in RAID 0 ?


I am planning to buy this particular HDD to store all of my projects and work on them directly. (on a RAID 0 setup for max performance). I mainly use Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

In addition to that i will use another external HDD just for Time Machine to back up the projects and the internal SSD from my iMac

I am open to suggestion for alternatives but i am looking for an "inexpensive" solutions to be honest.
something in the price range of the WD My Book DUO. At the moment i cannot afford a setup that will cost me 1000 euros
