I was able to get a hold of some WD 750GB passport drives without enclosures. They were made between the end of last year and beginning of this year.
The problem is that I don't know much about hard drives and I don't know if the ones I have are 9mm or SATA. I also cannot check what model they are because they haven't been labeled or anything (i.e. pretty much fresh off the assembly lines). The serial numbers start off with WXE0C7...
So how do I determine if these drives are compatible with my white Macbook (to serve as an internal hard drive) bought in September 2006?
