That's what has me curious. Neither USGS (QuakeBar) or Edinburg register the quake in Ecuador this a.m. It was mild but registered 4.1. At least the Aussies care about us. :)

The USGS recorded the 4.8 off of Peru. I don't know how the information at the USGS is compiled, but they seem to report even small earthquakes on the other side of the planet.

They do, indeed. That's why I'm curious why Ecuador's isn't mentioned. I reported it minutes after on the USGS Did You Feel It? EQ Notification Form. Maybe they wanted to pick on someone their own seismic. :)
