Weather app and 3.0 idea

I was just think since push is coming with 3.0 why can't yahoo and apple set up a push "temp" update for the weather app. I know you can jail break your iPhone and it will update current temp but since no background process you could do it with push In 3.0. Just a thought bc it would be nice feature.

So you'd get a popup notification everytime the temp changes? Kinda distracting no?

no it would just update the temp on the front of the weather app with no pop up
