I mean really....is this that big of a deal for people that we need to complain about it? I have access to my weather in a half a second by going into notification center. I can even swipe to the left to see the weeks forecast.

I guess there is always something to complain about, but this is a stretch.

So according to you it would be OK if Apple removed the new mail count badge from mail, because you can always just go into notification centre in 'half a second' too You seem to be getting muddled between 'complaining' and someone who makes a perfectly sensible suggestion that you don't personally see the need for.

However, the mail icon does not change to reflect any particulars about my email (because its a useless feature).
