Weather app just stopped working

In the upper taskbar, it shows current temp, but when I open Weather, it's "blank", no info. I've tried the various internet suggestions - toggle off/on (location services) and a computer restart etc. Tahoe 26.3.1 Any suggestions? I also tried Recovery Mode>First Aid. Now, I went to the apple app store, maybe try to download it, and App store says 'not compatible with this device' :0
