Can some maybe help find out why my weather app is showing a black moon

Is the moon in the New Moon (no moon) phase where you live? See here. I think the answer is yes.

Yep starts tomorrow is that why ??

I think so. The effect of no light being reflected on the Moon's surface is a darkened Moon. You'll likely notice the representation of the Moon being shown differently as the month progresses.
