Is there a weather app that will send alerts to the Apple Watch (i.e.- Tornado Warnings)?

I can't seem to get the Weather Channel App to do it, although if I open the app on the watch it does show the alert.....just wanted something to give me a Haptic tap if possible.

Thank you in advance!! :)

Thanks guys....I think I am going to get this one.

I can't for the life of me get The Weather Channel app to send me alerts on the watch. I have everything enabled I think, but something must be amiss.

Dark Sky! It is amazingly accurate with weather notifications.

Dark Sky does NOT send a weather alert as a notification to the Watch, at least on mine, and I have that enabled in the app and Location Services set to "Always." The alert does show up on a page in the phone app, but there's no badge, sound, or banner alert sent to the phone. This is something they need to fix if it's going to have that feature. I'm using WeatherBug as my primary weather app, and it reliably sends severe weather alerts to the phone. These do show up on my watch with a sound, haptic alert, and notification.

Alerts show up on my Apple Watch. I have it set to notify me of any rain. It vibrates on my wrist, without fail, when there is any rain (coming) at all. I've had Dark Sky for about a month and it's been 100% accurate in predicting when rain will begin and stop in my area. Just my experience . . .

Which weather alerts are you talking about? If its National Weather Service, like a tornado warning or flood watch, I don't know yet. There haven't been any since I started using the app. However I get rain alerts on the watch and any other (UV, etc that I have set up)

I'm talking about National Weather Service alerts. We had a Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued today, but it never showed up on the watch from Dark Sky (It did from WeatherBug.) Yes, I get the Dark Sky rain alerts on my watch. They work great and are very handy.

I'm not getting any rain alerts on my AW either, even though I have the settings enabled everywhere required. I have custom alerts setup for 7AM with a weather report, and they won't even show up on the iPhone either. Feel like I wasted the $4 or whatever I paid. It's a shame, if it worked I'd really like the app, but am probably going to look for something else.

Rain alerts do show up! perhaps something in your settings?

I see others saying it works great, and I'm not sure why it won't work. I've reinstalled it for the 3rd time today, went through every thread on MR I could find -- I seem to have the settings enabled correctly. I wound up submitting a support request to the application developer to see if they could provide some insight.

Of course, it's raining now :)

So on the "Alerts for your location" page (of the phone app), do you next hour precipitation checked?, severe Weather, etc.? I also have show in Glances checked in the watch app also. I get alerts such as "drizzle in 15 minutes" on my watch.

... and of course, it started randomly working this morning. I didn't touch the settings. Regardless, happy about it.

I use Hooks. It basically sends any type of notification you want to your Watch.

WeatherBug is a great weather app, and now it has a companion app for the Watch. All weather warnings for your location show up on the Watch.

A reviewer on-line mentioned this does not work for family share even though the App says it does. It only worked once for the family member after that it asked for payment. Please confirm if this works for family sharing as well.
thanks.
